The 10th European Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff Family conference was held on the 29 – 30 November virtually and was an incredible gathering that brought together experts, advocates, and families dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff diseases. The discussions were not only insightful but also marked by a collective commitment to drive positive change within our community. The event was held under the ETSCC banner and was organised by The CATS Foundation. We are grateful to the sponsorship provided by Azafaros and Sanofi so the conference could be held.
Conference summary
Each day of the conference explored different themes. On the first day we discussed the first 12 months after diagnosis. The second day included talks related to the research into Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff. We would like to say a big thank you to all the speakers, who shared their knowledge, experiences, and expertise during the conference. Their contributions made a big impact on our community and inspired us to continue working towards a brighter future for those affected by Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease.
