New look for The CATS Foundation website

We have given THE CATS FOUNDATION website a new look! It is now easier to find your way around the site and we have also added a few new features – these are shown below.

You can read more detail on each new feature after the list – please get back to us with any comments and views as we want to make THE CATS FOUNDATION website as good as we possibly can!

Updated search function

The search function on the website now returns a more detailed list of results according to your specific search term. Simply add in the search box what you want to find and press return, as show below.

Once the search has been completed you will get a thumbnail view off all the posts which relate to your search term. With this new search feature you will be able to see a short extract of the posts relating to your search and you can simply click on the image to be taken to the post you want to read.

Upcoming events added to the home page

On the home page we have added a quick link to the next three upcoming events. All you have to do is click on the image of the next event you want to read about and you will be taken to the information about it.

Gallery of images now available for events

We have added a gallery function to the website which means we can now upload images and display them for each event! All you have to do is use the top menu (or search event photos) and you will be taken to all the event photo posts.

Easy to use navigation

The whole navigation of THE CATS FOUNDATION website has been updated meaning you can find your way around a lot easier! The top menus will display all the posts relating to the particular category you are interested in.

Forums updated

The forums on THE CATS FOUNDATION website have now been updated and are much easier to use. You can easily find forum topics and post replies – all you have to do is sign in (you can do this with various social media logins, such as Facebook). Please use the forums to start topics about anything from Tay-Sachs related questions to any fundraising ideas you may have!
