New podcast episode: Rare Revelations – of a IMD Consultant

The latest edition of the Rare Revelations podcast featured Dr María Jose De Castro Lopez, a consultant in Paediatric Inherited Metabolic Diseases at Willink Biochemical Genetics Unit in the UK.

Maria talked through her career and how she has ended up working in supporting our community. It was fascinating to hear about the differences in the UK and Spanish healthcare systems and how the Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff community’s access to care is managed in each country.
